FoxTalk Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using the FoxTalk application, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Service Description

FoxTalk is a voice communication application designed for motorcycle riding groups. The app provides real-time voice intercom functionality over Bluetooth and internet connections. FoxTalk is a communication tool and is not a replacement for dedicated safety equipment, emergency services, or professional intercom hardware.

3. User Responsibilities

• You must use the application in compliance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
• Do not interact with the app in ways that distract you while riding. Set up your session before you start riding.
• You are responsible for the security of your account.
• You may not use the application for illegal purposes.

4. Premium Subscription

• FoxTalk offers optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional features such as Internet mode, Advanced mode, and expanded group sizes.
• Local (Bluetooth) mode is available free of charge.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation are governed by Apple’s terms.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

5. Safety Features Disclaimer

FoxTalk includes supplementary features such as an SOS notification button and an experimental impact detection alert. These features are provided as additional tools and have the following limitations:

• SOS notifications are sent only to other riders in your group. They do not contact emergency services (such as 112 or 911).
• Impact detection uses your device’s accelerometer to detect sudden changes in motion. It may not detect all incidents and can be triggered by non-crash events. This feature is experimental.
• These features do not replace professional safety equipment, emergency response systems, or personal vigilance.

6. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The FoxTalk application and its content are protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

FoxTalk is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this application, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or communication failures that may occur while riding. Riding safety is solely the user’s responsibility.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
